Instituto BME , BME's training center, and Brain and Code , a company specializing in technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI), have signed a collaboration agreement to jointly develop and launch the "Financial Intelligence for the Markets and Economics Certificate" (FIME) program. The new certification , which will be launched this January, aims to train professionals in the advanced use of AI applied to financial markets.
As stipulated in the collaboration agreement, this training program is aimed at both finance professionals seeking to acquire technical skills and technology professionals interested in applying their knowledge to the world of finance. Among others, it targets fund managers, traders and brokers, financial and data analysts, financial consultants and advisors, and professionals with technical backgrounds such as engineers, mathematicians, physicists, and programmers.
The FIME certification, designed for professionals in the financial and technology sectors, is structured in three levels, with a practical and specialized approach that includes in-person classes, online content, and a final assessment. The course will cover innovative topics such as generative artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, prompting engineering, and advanced cloud computing applications. With a total duration of 180 hours, it will be offered both in person at the Madrid Stock Exchange and online, allowing broader access for professionals interested in this cutting-edge training.

With this agreement with Brain and Code, Instituto BME continues to strengthen its alliances within and outside of Spain to promote financial education, both at the BME training center and in Braindex , BME's 100% online financial training platform. In 2024, Instituto BME signed two collaboration agreements. with the Dominican Republic Stock Exchange and with the Bolivian Catholic University San Pablo , in both cases, to work together to promote quality financial education in Spain and Latin America.
